Why Do You Need to Delete POF?
Whenever you create an account on any website or app, you usually have a purpose, whether it’s serious or just for fun. Whatever your reason for using the POF app, at some point, you may feel the need to delete your account for various reasons, including:
- You’ve found your soulmate and want to fully commit to your relationship, which may mean clearing past connections by deleting your dating app account.
- You’re very disappointed with the service and haven’t found what you were looking for.
- You’re dissatisfied with POF’s suggestions.
- You feel more mature and no longer see the need for apps to find companions or potential partners.
- You had a bad experience with someone you met through POF and now want to move on by stopping the use of the app.
How Do I Delete a POF Account?
To delete your POF account, complete the following steps:
First, visit the website, enter your POF username/email and password, then click “Check Mail” to log in to your account.
Once logged in, click on the “Help” tab in the POF address bar.
In the “Help” window of your POF profile, click on the "Remove Profile" link. This link will take you to a page where you need to fill out the required fields and provide a reason for deleting your POF account.
After that, click the "Click here" link under the Delete POF profile field to continue with the deletion process.
This will take you to another page with fields to fill out. Complete these fields by entering your username and password, select your reason for deleting the account from the “Reason for closing” drop-down list, and if applicable, enter your partner’s username if you’re leaving because you found someone on POF. Additionally, indicate how often you met POF users and whether you would recommend POF to others.
Finally, click on “Quit / Give up / Delete account” to confirm the deletion of your POF account. Make sure all required fields are completed to enable the "Quit / Give up / Delete account" button.
Remember, by following these steps, you can permanently delete your POF account, and this change cannot be undone. Additionally, your subscriptions or renewals will not be transferred to any future accounts you may create.
What If You Want to Create a New POF Account?
Go to the site and create an account.
Top up your balance and go to the selection screen on SMSOTPVERIFY. Choose the country you want to use for the new POF account.
Select POF from the service list and click the “BUY” button. You will receive a new POF phone number.
After purchase, the number will appear at the top of the page. Copy it by clicking on it.
Request the POF verification code, then return to SMSOTPVERIFY.com and press the “Get SMS” button.
